Our bi-monthly community poetry event, normally held at the welcoming Café Zoë in Menlo Park, is currently meeting online.

About our featured reader: KIM SHUCK is a Cherokee citizen/Euro-American poet, author, weaver, and bead work artist who draws from Southeastern Native American culture and tradition as well as contemporary urban life. She recently served as the seventh Poet Laureate of San Francisco, and in 2019 was named an Academy of American Poets Laureate Fellow. A recipient of numerous awards, Kim has authored books of poetry and lyrical fiction including Deer Trails, Rabbit Stories, Clouds Running In, Smuggling Cherokee, Murdered Missing, Sidewalk Ndn and Whose Water.
