High school students from San Mateo County will recite poems selected from the national POL project, with the winner advancing to the California State competition. The event will include readings and comments from POL coaches and judges: local laureates and laureates emerita Aileen Cassinetto, Kalamu Chaché, Caroline Goodwin, and Lisa Rosenberg.
