Youth from several San Mateo County high schools perform for advancement to the state level in this nation-wide competition. The evening features student and mentor performances, judging, and a reception with refreshments. Mentor poets include current and former San Mateo County Laureates Aileen Cassinetto, Lisa Rosenberg, and Caroline Goodwin. Free and open to the public.
