Join us for a featured reading followed by open mic, where you can share poems of your own, favorite poems by other poets, or just listen to the work being shared. Our bi-monthly community poetry event, normally held at the welcoming Café Zoë in Menlo Park, is meeting online during shelter-in-place. In August, we feature Poet Laureate Emerita of Belmont, CA, Tanuja Wakefield. Co-hosts San Mateo County Poet Laureate Emerita Lisa Rosenberg, and local poet Monica Korde, invite poets of all ages and writing styles to participate in the low-stress open mic.
